Mt. Hood Resort announces Breakfast With Santa and Holiday Wine Social

WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. - (October 25, 2011) - Jolly Old Saint Nicholas will be making three special appearances at The Resort at The Mountain this year to spread holiday cheer to families, children, as well as wine enthusiasts! A favorite holiday event at The Resort, Breakfast with Santa, will take place on Dec. 17 and 24, and the new Holiday Wine Social will take place on Dec. 23.

During Breakfast with Santa, guests will enjoy an award-winning breakfast buffet in Altitude restaurant, story time with Santa, and children will receive a photo with Santa Claus, plus an age and gender appropriate gift. Breakfast with Santa will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 24, both beginning at 9 a.m. The buffet is $15 for adults, $18.50 for children age four and older, and $7 for children age three and under. "Breakfast with Santa is an annual tradition at The Resort and we're pleased to announce two dates this year for families and children to enjoy," said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. "In addition, we've added a special Holiday Wine Social for our 21 and over guests to mingle with Saint Nick and pose for photo ops."

Guests are invited to join Mr. and Mrs. Claus for a special wine flight social in Altitude restaurant on Friday, Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. hosted by Sokol Blosser, a sustainable winery located in Dundee, Ore., highly praised for its Pinot Noir. Guests will enjoy a wine flight, appetizers prepared by Executive Chef Paul Bosch and his culinary team, and a photo with Santa, all for just $15 per person.
