The Resort at The Mountain’s menu includes Northwest-inspired & traditional dishes

WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. – (September 8, 2011) - Gather ’round the turkey at The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort) to indulge in a delectable Thanksgiving Day Buffet at Altitude restaurant on Thursday, November 24 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Created by Executive Chef Paul Bosch and his culinary team, the menu offers guests an abundance of classic and Northwest-inspired Thanksgiving items. Guests can begin with fresh, Pacific Northwest seafood items or a simple antipasto platter, then select from customary entrees like Slow Roasted and Basted Turkey and alternative fare such as Fennel Dusted Pork Tenderloin, and top it off with a sweet ending such as Chocolate Pumpkin Marble Cake or Eggnog Cheesecake with Caramel Whiskey Sauce. The complete buffet menu follows below.

“Our buffet allows families and friends to cherish their time together on Thanksgiving without the stress of preparing a meal or messy clean-up,” said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. “We look forward to welcoming those who have celebrated with us for years, as well as those starting a new Thanksgiving tradition.”

Available on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Thanksgiving Day Buffet is $38 per adult, $29 for seniors ages 55 and up, $15 for children ages five to 13 and free for children under five. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (503) 622-3101.
