Premier Oregon destination offers unlimited golfing with new packages

WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. – (May 3, 2011) – Dust off those golf clubs and get to The Resort at The Mountain where guests can golf to their hearts’ content with a Special Golf Offer and two new golf packages, the Max Golf Spring Tune-Up package and Max Golf package.

To kick-off the season, through June 30, 2011, guests can enjoy The Resort’s Special Golf Offer, which includes 27 holes with cart for two players and lunch at mallards café & pub, all for $89. For golfers who can’t play all 27 holes at once, The Resort will give vouchers valid for nine holes to be played at the guest’s convenience.

The Resort is also offering two new golf packages, perfect for golfers at both the amateur or pro level. Guests can work the kinks out of their game with the Max Golf Spring Tune-up package which includes unlimited golf with cart for two and overnight accommodations in The Resort’s well-appointed guest rooms. For post-game relaxation guests can enjoy a 50-minute restore-your-swing-back massage at The Spa, specially priced at only $79 (regularly $98). The Max Golf Spring Tune-up starts at $197 for two and is available now through June 19, 2011.

For golf fanatics, The Resort also offers the Max Golf package, which includes two days and one night in one of The Resorts’ cozy guest rooms and unlimited golf with cart on The Course’s three nines. Guests can enjoy lunch on the greens at mallards café & pub, featuring fresh and flavorful cuisine and picturesque views of the mountain. The Max Golf package starts at $239 for two and is available from June 20 to October 31, 2011.

“What better way to step-up your game than at The Courses,” said Bryce Finnman, PGA head professional at The Resort. “From check-in to check-out, guests can golf on one of the most scenic courses in the region.”

The Courses is a historic 27-hole golf club at The Resort and is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The Courses’ focus on the conservation of natural habitats is evident in the lushness of vegetation and the unhindered flow of the Wee Burn stream, which meanders through the sweeping fairways, manicured greens and menacing bunkers.
