Gather with family, friends and the Easter Bunny for an egg hunt and Sunday brunch

WELCHES (Mt. HOOD), Ore. – (February 17, 2011) – The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a nature-inspired spa, golf and ski destination nestled on 243 acres, less than one hour east of Portland, Ore., invites families to kick-off the spring season with The Resort’s annual Easter festivities including a kid-friendly Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23, and Easter Champagne Brunch on Sunday, April 24.

“Easter is the perfect time to welcome spring and count our blessings,” said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. “With our great egg hunt, delicious brunch and beautiful nature scenery, Easter is a great time for everyone at The Resort.”

The Easter egg hunt is free and starts promptly at 11 a.m. on the croquet lawns the morning of Saturday, April 23, and guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. Approximately 3,000 eggs will be hidden in three different areas to ensure children of all ages have fun and enjoy their fair share of candy and prizes. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance for photo and video opportunities.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, the whole family can enjoy brunch at Altitude restaurant for a seasonal and affordable Easter Sunday meal featuring local fruits and vegetables, as well as omelet and carving stations, and a pastry and dessert table. The cost is $36 including champagne for adults, $29 for seniors and $1 per year for children up to age 15.
