Mt. Hood Retreat Presents Annual Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch on Sunday, May 8

WELCHES (Mt. HOOD), Ore. – (February 16, 2011) – The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a nature-inspired spa, golf and ski destination nestled on 243 acres, less than one hour east of Portland, Ore., extends an invitation to all mothers and their families for the annual Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch, featuring Northwest flavors and preparations including an assortment of domestic and imported cheeses, house smoked and cured fish, and seasonal salads, fruits and vegetables, Sunday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Moms deserve a special day of recognition away from the kitchen and out of routine,” said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. “Mother’s Day at The Resort will spoil moms with a relaxing time enjoying excellent food around the table with loved ones.”

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the whole family can enjoy the bountiful buffet at Altitude restaurant prepared by Executive Chef Paul Bosch and his culinary team. The brunch features popular Northwest flavors and tantalizing selections for everyone to enjoy. The cost is $36 including champagne for adults, $29 for seniors and $1 per year for children up to age 15.

In addition to the brunch, guests can show their affection and appreciation for their mothers with acknowledgements such as flowers, candy, spa gift cards and balloons that can be arranged and presented at the table by The Resort.
