Oregon resort offers packages for hopeful mothers and mothers-to-be

WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. – (Sept. 1, 2010) – The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a premier golf, spa and ski destination located on the western slope of Mt. Hood, is offering two unique baby packages emphasizing natural fertility for couples wanting to make a baby, and "babymoons" for couples looking to relax before their family grows.

"The Resort is an ideal place for couples to relax, whether it is trying to conceive a baby, or some pre-Pampers pampering," said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. "The property's facilities offer cozy accommodations in a serene location that make it a perfect destination for would-be parents."

The Natural Fertility package includes overnight accommodations at The Resort complete with champagne; an orchid, which is a symbol of fertility, and a Simmons® Beautyrest Black® Beverly Hills™ Plush memory foam bed wrapped in luxurious linens; a side-by-side Shared Serenity Massage at The Spa; and a fertility-rich three course dinner of oyster shooters with raspberry mignonette, salmon ceviche and grilled beef tenderloin with spicy apricot chutney and fried yam chips. A vegetarian entrée of quinoa, beans or tofu is also available. The Natural Fertility package starts at $379 per night and is available now through Dec. 30, 2010.

Once the baby is onboard, the Babymoon package focuses on the parents-to-be. The package includes overnight accommodations at The Resort with a welcome basket full of treats to satisfy cravings, a mother-to-be massage and pedicure at The Spa, and dinner for two of green salad, steamed veggies, lightly-seasoned chicken with rice and a chocolate torte. Instead of a glass of wine, mothers-to-be can choose from Willamette Valley Vineyards white grape juice, a Virgin Mai Tai or Mojito, or a Chocolate Decaf-Espresso Martini. The Babymoon package starts at $299 per night and is available now through Dec. 30, 2010.
